Hi guys,
I have claimed points for my previous work experience (outside Canada) in my express entry profile - CEC application.
I do have a service letter from my previous employer stating that I was an employed with them from 2013 to 2015. And, before my employment I was working as a Trainee with them from 2012 - 2013.
The confusion is with the wordings stated in my service experience letter, I have claimed points for all the three years of my employment period with the company because I wasn't an intern at all (i.e I was already a Graduate and Trainee is a Designation held by New Joinees at the company) as I was employed for full 40 hours per week and performed all job duties and responsibilities in my tenure i.e. from 2012-2015.
How can I justify this in my Express Entry Application?

Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks In Advance.. :)

Sorry, I don't understand the question... what exactly is the problem?

Thanks for your reply.

My service letter states that I was employed from 2013-2014 as a Software Associate. And, prior to my employment I was working as an Associate Trainee from 2012-2013.

Will the "Associate Trainee" job role create any issue, as I have claimed points for that year as well???

Note - As an Associate Trainee, I still got paid and worked 40 hours per week.

Not sure why you consider a paid job as "not employed" just because it has the word "trainee." But you should start thinking of it as a job. As long as it was paid, you were on a work permit (not a study permit) and your duties/responsibilities fit a skilled NOC, it counts.

Thanks for clarifying!
I appreciate it!
