do my parents need to give biometric test and photo

Hello there,
I am applying for visitor visa for my parents.. who had visited me in Canada in 2015.
I am not sure if they had given biometric test+photo that time. I do not have their UCI. What to be done for the question
"In the past 10 years, has your family member given their fingerprints and photo (biometrics) for an application to come to Canada? "
Do you think, they will need to give biometric test for visa application?

They likely did the biometrics didn’t you ask them?

Thank you for your responses, I guess most probably they will need the biometric test. Do you know how to get UCI from an older Canadian visitor visa (2016 expired)? Is there any place from where we can find it?
