Do my I need ECA for my wife's degree if I am the principal applicant?

I am going to apply for express entry and got 412 score. It can be increased up to 422 if I count my wife's master degree. Can any body tell me that do I have to get my wife's degree credentials from ECA or not? If the answer is yes, then do I need to make it before submitting the application to enter the pool?
