Do I need to reapply for a TRV while I apply for the Study permit?

Hey, so I already have a TRV issued and it is valid until 2024. Once I apply for a study permit do I need to re-apply for a TRV or will the current one work? I tried finding answers for my case but there wasn't anything clear. As far I know and read on the IRCC there is no distinction between a visitor visa TRV and a study permit TRV.

I little brief on my situation, I am currently in the USA as a foreign student and I have a visitor visa for Canada for tourist reasons. I am trying to apply for a study permit. Do I still need a new TRV? I looked at some student TRV example and they clearly have student category mentioned on the TRV. Whereas mine says Visitor. That is why I ask.

When applying from outside Canada a TRV will be automatically issued when the permit is granted if required, so there is no extra application, only within Canada do you need to apply for TRV(If you want) because its not issued automatically.
