Thanks in advance for your help. Apologies if this is a silly question.
I'm working through the documents checklist for citizenship. One of the requirements is a police certificate "from each country outside of Canada where I was present for a total of 183 days or more in a row in the four years immediately before the date of my application".
Over the last four years (ie, the last 1461-day period), I have spent less than 183 days living in a country outside of Canada (ie, the country where I was living before moving to Canada). However, I did spend more than 183 days overall in said country in the calendar year when this four-year period starts (however, not within the last four years but rather within the last five).
In this case, do I need to provide a police certificate from said country?
Thank you.
