Do i need a transit visa to US if i have a Canadian Student Visa?

Our school offers a student exchange program at Singapore for two weeks. Our flight will transit to US and i am wondering if i need any documents. My student visa has multiple entry. But to be sure not to be held at the US embassy. What should i prepare with me? Our flight will be on Aug 18... Help!!!!

Yes - you need a US transit visa. You need to apply for this in advance and are very short on time at this point.
