sponsoring outland (UK) my wife only, the children have dual nationality. do i mention the children in sponsorship evaluation 5481 question 6b even though they are not being sponsored?

Do you support them financially?

yes. my instinct and research tells me to mention them.

If you support them financially, I think you should mention them

I would like clarification by any senior members too. It says on the Sponsorship Evaluation to mention anyone who is dependent financially IF they are not mentioned on 1344EA Section C. So it appears that children should be mentioned as financially dependent should be on the Sponsorship Evaluation form no?

I have similar situation and am also unsure what to do. My wife is sponsoring me outland UK. We have two children both dual nationals who are probably financially dependant on me (but we both work). We haven't included them on IMM 1344 as advised elsewhere, but are thinking best to just count the children on IMM 5481? what could be the drawback since there is no minimum income requirement for spousal sponsorship?

We had the same situation, and got advice from another member - who's spouse has gotten PPR - that was, and we did, put our son & daughter in line 6B .It has no bearing really since spousal do not have a monetary requirement.

We put them only on the IMM 5481, not the IMM 1344 - they are not an accompanying dependent - they are citizens (do you have their proof of citizenship ? We had to apply for our kids, they are 3, and we just never did). This would be for a child of yours that was not with your wife.

The children in my situation are already citizens with their own passports.... which was a pretty lengthy process.

Yup, then just include a copy of that proof (the passports) and include them on the 5481 under 6B.
