i'm a CDN citizen and my wife received her PR card. she landed and got her confirmation of landing but never moved to Canada permanently.
So i decided to move down to the States instead and live there with her together. I notified RCA that I'm moving to US and becoming a Non-CDN-Resident for taxation purposes, quit my job, cancelled my DL and Medical and sold everything. I have a Green Card and We are living in the US together.
My wife keeps on asking me to notify CIC that she doesn't live in CDN but in the US. I think you only have to do that during the immigration process. Once you have PR card CIC doesn't care where you live.
Do we need to notify CIC in writing with our US address that my wife lives in the US and we are living here together?
