I am an outland applicant currently applying through the EE for my PR and my PNP expires in early June. I submitted all the documents in January except a Police Certificate because it requires an official request letter from IRCC. I applied for it in late February and the police said it could take up to four months to mail to IRCC because of the covid. Even if IRCC receives it in time, considering there is a delay in process right now , my nomination will likely expire while my application is still being processed, Therefore I am wondering do I have to extend the nomination? I am a bit confused because it seems to me that the PNP expiry date is the deadline for submitting the application, I am not sure whether the nomination is lost after the expiry date.
