Do i have a choice when to do PR landing?

Hey all,
Quick question: I have planned a trip to the US and have my COPR and a valid work visa up until March 2019. I also have another trip scheduled mid-feb overseas. Do i have a choice when to do my PR landing given its before the COPR expiry date?
As in can i use my work visa to enter Canada without doing landing ?

Yes and no. When you enter Canada you can ask the CBSA officer to admit you as a Worker since you don't want to land as a PR now. However, it is up to the officer to accept that or not. So, you can try, but you will have to be prepared for landing if your request is not approved. Good Luck!
