Can you clarify this? My wife is in Canada as a student and we applied for EE FSW and received Biometrics request letter saying:
Note: If you received this letter you must give your biometrics before coming to Canada and are not eligible to have your fingerprints and photograph taken at a Canadian port of entry. If you are already in Canada, you will have to leave the country to provide your biometrics.
Is she exempt or has to leave the country and get biometrics taken in next 30 days?
Applicants applying from inside Canada are
temporarily and conditionally exempted from giving biometrics.
However, if a PR application is moved to a processing center outside Canada
(e.g for workload distribution...), applicants is required to leave Canada to give biometrics. The system for biometrics collection is not yet setup in Canada. Most applicants who receive such request usually go to the US to give them.
This indeed applies to your wife.
