Hi All,

I have 7 -8 years experience in the financial industry in India and the middle east. I have completed 5 years in my current job and the previous jobs were short and i didn't collect the character certificates from them but i have included those jobs in my resume.

Will CHC ask for the experience letters ?? I am confused because the outsourcing company has closed down and its difficult for me to obtain any certificate from them.

Thanks and Regards

Yes they can. I think you should have some doc's from your last employer like job offer letter, increment letter, promotion letter, salary slip etc...any of these docs you can provide as proof with a cover letter explaining that why yo can't provide them ref letter.
Also try to trace any managerial person from your last company, or your peer and gets a recommendation letter from him. This also works in this situation.

Hop for best.

Hi Ron,

Once you put any information on your application form then you are liable to provide supporting documents for the same. As Mehar has mentioned provide a cover letter and mention therein why it is not possbile to acquire the said documents.

Can you not get current reference letter from the past employer? In case you can not provide current reference letter then you will have to mention in a cover letter the reason of not providing it.

Well, if you have back dated letters, fine, no worries, put them in original. Secondly, your passport contains details of your visa, that will be added proof that you were abroad. So, according to me, there is no real need to go to previous employers and get a reference letters. If you think you can get, do get, they are desirable but not essential.

Thank you all for your valuable inputs. Yes i do have salary slips and appointments letters.

I can also provide the business cards of the persons i was employed under. But only thing is for one job i was outsourced so i cannot provide much details.

Do they require originals copies or only photocopies are enough for 120 days update request ??

In case of a cover letter what all do i need to mention ???

Thanks and Regards

Dear Ron,

Letter from the employers: CHC asks for letter from the employers just to make sure all duties you performed do match with the NOC duties. If you have old letters still that is acceptable but the job duties on the letterhead must be elaborated and matched with the NOC duties. If you have a lack of letters try to provide as many as different documents e.g. payslips, p45, offer letter, acceptance letter, any reward and so forth.

Reagrding payslips: I have sent CHC, London all payslips (original) of my different jobs. Because for some of the jobs I was unable to provide them an employment contract as I have lost them. However, those payslips will suggest them how many hours I worked in each places. Eventually, officer will come to know the job was full time/part time which is imperative to gain points.

Regards.

Saurav-- Dear friend plz tell me, how point is calculated for experience? for claiming 21 points required continuous experience in same NOC or total experience from other NOC will be counted?
