We had a marriage breakdown, I was landed last year October then I returned to my home country after 1 month. I am planning to move to Alberta, what are the implications if I am going to file a divorce in Alberta while my ex-wife lives in montreal with my 15 yrs old daughter? Would it be counted my 1 yr in my home country for a divorce grounds? thank you very much, appreciate if someone can share a story like mine...
