My legal status in Canada is by work permit since 2013. Can i file divorce in Canada to my 'wife' (in Philippines, living separately for 8 years)?

There is no divorce law in the Philippines.

After living in Canada at least 1 year apart, you can legally proceed with the divorce proceedings. The divorce will be recognized in Canada once granted but it will not be recognized in the Philippines, except CIC offices.
