Can file a divorce from india with my wife who is a canadian citizen.

We got married in US.
My immigration got denied to Canada when we filled from India.
Due to circumstances my wife and i are not in talking terms since then.

A: What are my options to file a divorce and how.
B: Whom should i approach.
C: Expenses.
D: Does a marriage even hold any ground if it was not done in India or Canada (was done in US), keeping it in mind that we never got it registered at the Indian high commision in US.

A divorce from India would be legally recognized in Canada if one of the parties has been legally residing in India for 1 year prior to the commencement of the divorce proceedings. If you are a legal resident of the US for the past 12 months, you can file for divorce there.
