Hi,
I am an Indian got married in May,2014. I landed in Canada on the 8th of December, 2017 along with my wife and we received our PR cards together in the month of January on the 26th, 2018.

However, our marriage did not last and we are separated since April 1st, 2018 and both are residing in India.

I went to Canada for a period of 5 to 6 days in May,2018 to get everything back ie. my money and other things and since then living and working in India.

I expect to get a divorce in India and the legal proceedings are to start from first week of April, 2019 and possibly get a divorce either by 3 - 6 months from day of starting the legal proceedings.

Please help with my questions?
1. Would renewal of my Permanent residence status / card be a problem?
2. Do I have to notify CIC about my marriage status?
3. When applying for a Ontario license of marriage - how do I show that I have been a resident of India for 1 Year during my separation as I have visited Canada for 5 to 6 days in May, 2018.
4. Is there anything I need to be aware of in continuing my life in Canada as a permanent resident?
5. I plan to live in Canada as a permenant resident from Feb 2020 onwards would that be any issue post the divorce?

Thanks
