I am looking for some advice. I will be activating my permit next year but I have the opportunity to do a masters program online full or part - time, starting in January. However, from my research, I am still unclear whether doing distance learning while in Canada will affect my hopes for PR in the future. I’m not sure if I would be better off doing a year full time masters and working alongside it knowing it may not count toward CRS points for that year and then getting my full years work experience after completion. Or doing part time, while working and hopefully getting all the necessary points. I would prefer to get the masters done in a year but definitely don’t want to risk my chances, so would love some expert advice.
