My fiance, a physiotherapist by profession is in Canada studying a PG Diploma at Fleming College since Sep 2013. We got engaged before she left. She's would be in India from Dec to Jan, in the meantime we plan to get married. Now, I intend to apply for a TRV while she is there after she resumes her studies in Jan. But the only proof of marriage we eould have is the marriage certificate since there's not enough time to update marital status and spouse name on her passport. Could that cause problem while applying for a TRV? When do you reckon I should apply anyways?.
Secondly, about my profile, I have over 6 years experience behind me and just completed my MBA. What reason should be given while applying for TRV?
We dated for about 4 years before she went to Canada, do we need to prove that we knew each other since long while processing an application for TRV?
Typically, I am of the view that we should wait for atleast a month or two after she leaves before applying for TRV, plz suggest.
P.S. She has gone for 1 yr diploma program, scheduled to culminate in August, 2014.
Plz suggest guys... There seems to be lot of ambiguity on the issue.
