Me & my Mrs both have PRs but we are currently living outside Canada.
While living outside Canada my wife has changed her surname [from family name to husbands my name] on her passport, but she can not update surname on her PR as we are currently living outside Canada [as I believe for updating the PR she has to be inside Canada first].
Now we are not sure, when she go back to Canada border how the airline staff / immigration officer at the airport will react seeing discrepancy in the surname on Passport & PR card.
If she carry marriage certificate, old passport copy, old landing documents along is this still a problem for authorities, can anyone advise please?
