Hello. I'm from Iran. I want to move to Canada on study permit.
I recently found out that I'm HIV positive. Now I'm on treatment and my viral load is undetectable.
I've got admission from McGill University.
when we apply for visa from Iran we don't need to do the medical test. we need to do the test if :
  • In the previous year, we spent six or more consecutive months in a country designated by Canada as having a higher prevalence of serious communicable disease than Canada.
now if I don't disclose my HIV status what happens? Will I have problem in Canada for my ARVs? or I should tell officer in my SOP about my HIV status?
in the process of visa are there any immigration forms that I should explain about my HIV status?
please help me. I'm really in a stressful situation.
Thanks a lot.

Hello, how did you resolve this? I'm in the same situation. Also, if you're in Canada, did you have to pay for your drugs?
