Digital photo for PR - Can you use the same one on your passport?

Can you use the same one on your passport?

The PR application does not require the photo should be taken recently
my passport photo was taken 3 years ago.

can i use this?

Obviously not. Just take a photo with your phone or other camera on plain white background with good lighting. Cut it to size using idphotos4u.com or any such website.

No. You have to submit printed photo taken by a professional for PR card later.

Yes you can... For the ITA application I used an old photo and it was fine... If you get approved THEN they will ask for a recent photo and that one has to be within the last six months obviously.
