Difference of name in passport and educational certificates.

My name in educational certificates is "MOHD ****** ******" And in passport is "MOHAMMED ****** ******" . Which name should I use in express entry profile? Do I have to submit an affidavit? Can the difference in names cause trouble?

Use the name that is printed on passport.

If you had changed name then submit affidavit.

Also mention the same in generic application form. There is one option that ask if you were known by any other name previously. Tick it as YES. And provide name change document i.e. affidavit

Thanks for the quick reply... I didn't change my name . But as Indian passport requires for the expansion of name,there is a difference in passport and certificates. Do I have to select yes in the application for the "have you ever known by other names" question.
