ielts is easier and more objective.....apart from american universities......ielts will be accepted by most universities from around the world
toefl ibt is a bit harder, exam style/interface.... also less objective...in the end it is all about ur knowledge of idioms, vocabulary etc
All in all, in terms of exam patterns, ielts is a lot easier
