Hello all!
This might be a bit of a stupid question but some advice given to me is trying to get me to think that its very important and has gotten me a little worried about it. On both of the document checklists (one for Canada and the country specific one for my spouse) it says to include any evidence that would prove our relationship is genuine to each other.
Now since I own a computer (my spouse doesn't own a compuer and therefore can't save or archive any old evidence online) I pretty much own all the evidence such as old pictures, facebook, skype chat logs, online receipts and things like physical receipts of western union etc. In regards to my spouse she only has a couple of old pictures, our wedding pictures (which i also have), some text messages and a few western union receipts from her end.
The advice given to me was that i should split the evidence in half? So like half of the evidence is from me and the other is made to look like its from her? I guess the advice is that we should both have lots of evidence? To me that doesn't make sense as all of the evidence pertains to both us. For example all my pictures include both of us obviously, my text message archives have both our replies in the same conversation, same with things like skype. Why would it make a difference who it came from?
I was just planning on including all of the evidence that makes our relationship genuine in a separate envelope from the main documents needed in the application for organizational purposes. For example:
Package will look like this
Envelope 1 - Sponsor application
Envelope 2 - Principal applicant
Envelope 3 - Supporting documents
Now am I just worrying too much and overthinking things and its probably okay if all the evidence was just kept together? Like i specifically mention that I have most of the evidence IN the application. Mind you this advice was given to me from someone who was sponsored probably i would say close to 20 years ago.
Any thoughts or advice would be great, hopefully this post made sense to you...as always thanks guys! ;D
