Didn't Receive Notif in Email. CIC gave 45 Days.. Please Help

Hi. I am posting for my friend's situation.

She lost her email password and was not aware that CIC will send notification via rmail. She is sponsoring her husband and started their application last year of August. After a month they received a letter saying that they will forward the husband's application in Manila Philippines. They have been waiting for months and I advised her to check her email since it's uncanny that they didn't receive any news yet. She told me she forgot her password and was not aware that nowadays tey send notifications or updates via email.

So two weeks ago she sent them an email using her new email. They replied just now and said that they sent my friend a medical request in her email last May 5. And they are now given 45 days to send them a letter stating the doctor who did the husband's medical and the date when the husban did the medical.

Can the husband still do the medical now and send CIC a letter stating they they lost the email's password and they were not aware how important email is?

Please Help my friend. Thank You in advance. We appreciate it a lot.

My best advise is to get the medicals done as son as possible and then send the receipt of the exams,
it will state date and doctor, the doctor will submit to Immigration via internet, and then she just have
to wait...
Looks to me that they have been very kind with them because they are giving her 45 day,

So, don't delay and have him taking the medical examinations,

there are many doctors that can do the medical,
I just give one example because I cant locate the list....

since its very difficult to get them in the phone.
