Didn’t receive rejection letter

Hello,
So basically it’s been 7 months since my husband and I applied and today we checked our status on the website.
On the website, one of the application form status was updated and it said ‘not eligible’ while the other two applications said in process and last one said we require more time to process.
Few days back we emailed them asking them that our application timeline is due. They replied saying that our case was transferred to British Canadian office. Now my wife was born in Bristol and we assumed that this might be the reason.
Also, their was a slight spelling mistake on her birth certificate. Is our application basically rejected? We are fretting real bad! Any suggestions!

Call IRCC directly and speak to an agent would be the quickest way to find out the status of your application.
Or order your GCMS notes which will give you more detailed info but that is going to take a while to arrive

I tried doing that but apparently you can only contact IRCC if you are based in Canada. :/

You could call even if you are outside the Canada just follow below link
