Did not update promotion in TRV Application:

Worked in company ABC from Oct 2020 to dec 2024

As security guard (partime) from Oct 2020 to nov 2021

As supervisor from nov 2021 to dec 2024

Applied trv on march 2022 but forgot to mention the promotion received in nov 2021 in the TRV application.
Entered like this : from-2020 Oct to ———(blank) . Activity - security guard , company: ABC

Now I am claiming points from nov 2021 to dec 2024 as supervisor

Will it come under misrepresentation!

Please provide any suggestions on how to deal with this . Thank you

Based on what you've described, I don't think this would automatically be considered misrepresentation.

At the time you applied for your TRV in March 2022, you had already been promoted, so ideally the application should have reflected your current position. However, if the omission was simply an oversight and you weren't trying to gain an immigration benefit by claiming a different role, that's quite different from intentionally providing false information.

For your current PR application, make sure your work history is completely accurate. List both positions with the correct dates, provide a reference letter that clearly shows your promotion from Security Guard to Supervisor, and include a brief LOE explaining that your earlier TRV application wasn't updated to reflect the promotion due to an oversight.

The important thing is that your current application is truthful and supported by your employment records. As long as your dates, duties, and supporting documents are consistent, and you're being transparent about the earlier omission, it's unlikely to be viewed the same way as a deliberate misrepresentation.
