Did not recieve Medical check but never got request

Our status on our Medical Check changed to:

'We did not recieve the results of the required medical check. Check your medical exam request messages for details.'

We did not recieve instructions to get a medical check or and there is no message from the gov.

We have finished biometrics recently and submitted spousal PR end of November.

What does this mean? Should we go get a medical check? What are the instructions from the government?

You won't be able to get a medical check without the instruction message that comes with the notification. I suggest contacting IRCC (via telephone or web form) to get an update this situation.
