Did Anyone whose ECAS changed to 'In Process' on oct. 09th receive PPR or DM ??

I sure hope you're right. Several of us just got DM at the end of October/beginning of November and no COPR yet. I know they seem to have made a few changes in the last several months in how they process things. Used to be that once you got in process, DM would follow in just a couple of weeks, but mine took more than 2 months. But yeah, wouldn't be the first time I was grossly misinformed by a call centre agent.

I'm betting the call centre was wrong too. If you went to DM on the 5th, then I'm not terribly surprised that it hasn't shown up yet based on what other people have reported, even from within Canada. I'm not sure, but was Remembrance Day a postal holiday in Canada? If it was, that would have slowed it up too.

And to give a little context to the rest of the thread - got the generic email on Sept 22, went IP on Sept 23rd, and nothing since. At least one other person with the same generic email/IP timeline (also processed in Ottawa) has gone to DM, so I'm hoping any day now...guess we'll see.

I woke up this morning to Decision Made!

There's no 4th line, but I'll take DM any day! I'm hoping it's a favorable one.

Timeline is as follows:

Application Sent: May 5th
AOR: June 3rd
SA: July 7th
IP: October 9th
RPRF/Additional Proof of Sponsor Residency Email: October 23rd
DM: November 14th

I know that we seem DMs usually come in groups, so I'm hoping someone else here has DM today.

I'm going to call Monday to see if I can get any info on the DM. I'll keep you posted about that and COPR times.

Here's to hoping next week is your week then! If anything, I think it good news to see May applicants slowly see DM this far out from Christmas. My hope is the majority of them will have it by the time the holidays roll in. I can't think of a better Christmas Gift from the CIC than that.

Going by your DM, it means a lot was done in October and your guess was correct.

Now u will be landing earlier than expected. Good news !

Still nothing for me. I ordered case notes October 8th (with IP happening October 9th).

I got the GCMS notes last weekend, and nothing had changed since my last GCMS order in August. Mind you, they pulled the notes on October 14th—9 days before I got an additional documents request and only 5 days after I went IP. I'd like to think that if I'd ordered them today and received them same-day, that something would be started.

I'm still hoping we'll see something in December. I'd love to be able to kick of 2016 as a PR of Canada.

When did your VO start processing your file ? That will give you an idea if much will be said in the notes.

We applied on oth march..and the status chnged to inprocess on the same day as it is for others i.e. 9th october

I think that mine changed to IP in September. It still says IP but we received the PPR via email on Friday.
Looks like they don't take ECAS very seriously.

Finally I got PPR by e-mail today. What a perfect holiday gift .

Afte rall, the batch IP on oct. 9th was meaningful.

It took me 7 weeks from IP to PPR. No extra doc. request.

The overall application took 7 months: may 5th - Dec. 5th !
