There’s a Scarborough oath thread but the standard timeline is “within 3 months”. And my own Scarborough oath took about two months to arrive - this office did 1800 oaths in 3 days the week I took mine.

If it’s DM it’s just a matter of time.

Within 3 months of DM? Or overall 12 months from application?

Can I ask when you took your test and when your oath ceremony was?

Can be both. But generally within 3 months of DM based on my observation in the 2019 spreadsheet.
IRCC website lists within three months of test, but generally means DM. If there’s a delay in DM expect the oath to take longer.
12 months is average for routine applications from received (not AOR) to DM.

Details in my signature but believe test was Nov 18th and Oath was Feb 7th. There was a bit of a difference between when IRCC said they emailed me,when the website was updated and when I eventually got the invite via Canada Post.

I did test yesterday and they gave me oath for next day at Scarborough office. They said they had so many vacant seats to fill in.
So i said yes i will be able to come tomorrow.

This is the most frustrating response I have ever heard someone say an officer has said. “There are so many vacant seats”; Then send out invites to those waiting!

If what you said is true, shouldn't they invite people who are on the waiting list...logically speaking?
