Did anybody got their visa approved from Abu Dhabi this summer?

I am applying for student permit visa in january 2017. I am from kuwait and I am indian passport holder. In India the approval rates are higher than that of abu dhabi. Heard that CIC in abu dhabi sucks and they show lack of professionalism in handling application and exceed the given time. Any advice from where should I apply CIC Abu Dhabi or INDIA

I applied online as well from the state of Kuwait. The application was made on June 2nd and till date nothing has received. None of my enquiries have been replied to, I have only received a request to undergo a medical exam on Jul 21st and it was passed on Aug 5th. On August 30th I received an email stating that I have an update to my application and I must sign in to see status & messages. When I did sign in there was nothing changed. I believe my application was approved on Aug 31st but haven't received the to submit my passport.

I know about you. I have read your earlier posts. It seems quite unfair that visa offices do not care about if we loose our admissions.

I can't tell you what I have been through... They have lost all sense of consideration for the applicants here. I will suggest you to apply from India, in my experience from this forum Indian processing times are way quicker. I don't want anyone to go through what I am going through. I know a bunch of June online applicants of the Abu Dhabi embassy are still waiting and going through what I am gong through. My heart bleeds
