Detroit timeline to stamp PR visa and return of passports

Any updates any one? Has any one received passports back from detroit via canadapost xpresspost specifically people who sent 1st week of june 2012???

Hi did you get your passport back. Mine also shows decision made 2 weeks now. Passport reached detroit on June 11. DD not encashed yet. Let me know when you get it.

It seems like it is taking about two-three weeks to return passports from Detroit.

How much time will it take PP to return to you? Mine they will be receiving on July 18, 2012 IA.

I sent mine on June 25 (delivered at Winsor PO Box on June 26, 9:10 AM), have not heard from them yet. I also included return Xpresspost, but it has not been activated yet! I look forward to receiving it soon (hoping this week).

I submitted 15 days ago until today.

Mine was submitted after PPr request from within Canada and reached Detroit on 25 Jun...till now E-cas is not updated ...shows medicals received and Bnak draft not encashed yet. 23 days elapsed.Do I have to worry ??
Sent an inquiry...the reply was it takes 5-6 weeks to get passport back.

I think it takes at least three weeks (15 working days) since it reached to Detroit. Good luck everyone

Hi Everyone,

I just stumbled across this site and forum today and after reading all the posts on this thread I though I would share my status:

- Application for PR Received at Buffalo Office: Nov 20, 2011
- Received AOR: Jan 26, 2012. In the AOR email they stated that my file was transferred to Ottawa to speed up processing.
- Received Medical Request: March 27, 2012. I did my medical examination withing the next few days and the clinic sent it to CIC sometime around April 10.
- Received Request for Passport and RPRF: June 22, 2012. I send out my passport soon after and it was received at Detroit office on June 28.

I am still waiting for my passport to be sent back. Eagerly checking the return envelope tracking number a few times a day to see if it is active yet!

Online status on CIC website still says "In Progress", with the last update being "Medial Results have been Received".

Hope I get it soon. Good luck to everyone who is in a similar situation and this must be exciting & anxious times for all!

Did u get ur pp back.Mine was received on 25 Jun at Detroit...almost a month and DD not encashed nor has the E-cas status updated wondering whts happenin ???

Passport received by M. Moore : June 27
Status changed from MR to DM : Today July 23
Hopefully by this week tracking number will be active (fingers crossed)...
