Detroit Timeline for Stamping visa after PPR

Hi Gays,
My Ecas status has been change to Decision Made, and now it showing my new address as Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. But still I havn't recieved my passport back, even my return shipment is not activated.

My Ecas has changed to DM as well. When did you send in your passport?

I had send my passport on 20th Nov, and they got on 21th Nov.

They received on Nov 27. I thought it's going to take 2-3 weeks. How long does it take for them to return the ppt from DM? Does it mean the visa has been issued once ecas turned to DM?

I think when ecas says DM, means they have issued visa. Does ecas shows any change in your address?

No. I haven't changed my address recently. So there shouldn't be any change. Keep us posted when your return envelope got activated!

Hi everyone, just a quick update. I got my PPR on Nov 9, 2012. It arrived in Detroit on Nov 21, 2012, as I made the stupid decision to use Canada Post Xpresspost USA. My COPR was created on Nov 30, 2012, eCas changed to DM on Dec 2 2012, and then I received my COPR on Dec 4, 2012. Will land next weekend. Good luck to all!

I don't know how long it is supposed to take to get there, but i filed a ticket, and got my money refunded! i paid 16$ CanexpressPost Montreal-Windsor 3days tops, and it needed 8days! Money back, thx.

arrived at Windsor: 12th October

Printed Date on CoPR: 23rd October

left Windsor: 25th October

arrived at my place: 29th October

I checked my notes regarding what you get back: passport copy and my Work permit copy came back, 1 photo on the CoPR, other like that.

no Status change on ecas. for a long time....

Thanks bud.. work permit copy? Is that what they asked you because you are from a visa exempt country? ECAS didnt change to Decision Made? I guess I will not be getting back my PPR before 2013!

they requested a copy of my whole passport, which comprises in my case 32 pages, this included the stapled-in Work permit. i just copied it, it "belonged" to the passport IMO. it eventually came back. Anyway, they sent back the Passport identification part, but kept all other 31 pages.

Ecas hasn't changed since "In Process" with "Medicals Received" since June 28th. This was at least the most significant change, i don't mention the address line changes once in a while.
