Detroit Timeline for Stamping visa after PPR

they requested a copy of my whole passport, which comprises in my case 32 pages, this included the stapled-in Work permit. i just copied it, it "belonged" to the passport IMO. it eventually came back. Anyway, they sent back the Passport identification part, but kept all other 31 pages.

Ecas hasn't changed since "In Process" with "Medicals Received" since June 28th. This was at least the most significant change, i don't mention the address line changes once in a while.

I kinda miss checking my emails 20 times a day and that uneasiness of when PPR will arrive..

yeah, me too. at the moment im "a bit" nervous about my pr card arrival. i landed on 3rd November, 62 in my case are over th 4th January 2013. I'm on vacation in germany until 12. January. my friend has to send me my card to germany. if the card doesn't arrive on time i'll lose my ticket. (booked in April 2012) it'll be tight. i think i will apply for a travel document just in case.

Lets say if the pr card doesnt arrive.. I dont think you need a travel document as you are from a visa exempt country? You should ask CIC about this.

yeah, i know, i'm visa exempt, but even the officer at the border told me to get a travel documents since it happend that there were problems at the check in about that. i don't want to take the risk. i think if i apply for it, they might see that, reject my request, and i will go with that to the airport as proof. we'll see. i keep you updated for future reference.

How long does getting that document take? Are you leaving soon, if not apply for that. The timeline is pretty tight as with all the holidays coming up it seems a bit tight. But, I do hope you get the PR Card soon

It says it takes 10 days (working days) in Vienna, my responsible office. Lets see what comes first, PR card or Travel document. lool i leave the 19th December.

When did your passport reach Detroit?

Did you send it directly to Detroit or Windsor? When did it reach there? Has your ECAS changed to Decision Made.. If ECAS hasnt changed it means visa hasnt stamped yet!

My passport reached Detroit in Nov 27 and they issued my visa in Nov 30. Ecas has changed to DM in Dec 3 and I received my passport in Dec 7. Hope that helps!

I sent my pp directly to Detroit ...y we hv to send Windsor first? I m in CANADA right now n in my ppr they said send to Detroit so I sent directly to Detroit ... I did any mistake?? Pls rep

My pp reached at Detroit on dec 3 n my ecas showing decision made on my application but return mail is not activated yet...
