Hi all,

I'm a newbie and hoping someone can help.

I'm currently in the process of applying for PR from the UK as a British Citizen and have received my PPR. I've been asked to send my passport or a photocopy of my passport if my country is visa exempt. When I click to see if the UK is exempt the response is that I need an ETA. So is the UK exempt from visa, or is an ETA considered a visa? Obviously i'd much rather send a photocopy, but don't want to get things wrong!

Thanks

1. ETA is not a visa, a UK passport holder is visitor visa exempt, so just send photocopies of your passport.

Just send them photocopies of your passport, you don't need a visa. You don't need eta as well, your copr and passport is all you will need to travel. I am from visa except country too.
