Hi everyone.... My post grad work permit is about to expire.
Is it possible that i can get my enroll in an 8 month course and apply for a dependent spousal work permit.
I already have an ITA but i have been struggling to get Canadian PCC as it was issued on dec 5th 2014.
I guess new PCC would consume hell lot of time

If yes would i be able to work ful time.

Note - I am currently employed and my wife is vising me. She has been living with me past 4 months.

Yes - your wife can certainly try applying for a study permit. However none of us can obviously say if she will be approved or not. If she is approved, you can then try applying for a spousal open work permit. Once again, none of us here can say if the SOWP will be approved or not.

Your wife will have to submit her study permit application to the visa office responsible for her home country. She should include proof with the application that she has strong ties to her home country and has no plans on remaining in Canada long term.

Hey man ! Two question for you. Since you have ITA and are married, did you mention that "wife is coming with you" in the application? If not, then when your wife is here, would it have any negative consequence in your ongoing application? Have you inquired about this with cic ? Also, is a Canadian PCC part of PR app? Please let me know.

Canadian PCC should be quick, 2-3 weeks processing time. I had mine in mailbox in 2 weeks.

A quick question... why do you even need a Canadian PCC when you are currently residing in Canada? The CIC website states that you don't need one unless asked for after the application submission
