Designated country

Hi this may seem a stupid question but I'm not sure about it and I dont wanna make a mistake.. I'm applying to extend my stay in Canada to start sponsorship process, and one of the questions is if I lived in a designated country for the past year.

I investigated a little but I'm still confused. I've been in Canada for 4 and a half months and I'm from Argentina, should I pick yes or no?

Assuming you were in Argentina for the 7.5 months before coming to Canada, the answer is no.

Also, it is a little early to be applying for the extension.
