Deported from Canada after 10 years

Hi, me and my family visited canada from pakistan in 1998 as refugees. I have 4 children and 2 children were born in canada during our stay. In 2009 we were asked to leave canada. In 2011 both my children went back to canada and are living with my brother who is a permenant resident. Now i wanted to know is there any way that we can go back to canada. Or can my eldest son go back on a student visa cause he studied in canada until grade 10.
In addition one of my child that is in canada stays pretty ill and the doctors say that we can send you a letter that can say that this child needs to be with her parents during her illness.

Thanks, but i was curious about if my children can sponser us after there 18. In addition can my 2 children that got deported ever go back to canada?

I am not quite sure how it works - its either 5 years or 10years before u can go back to that country given that you have cleared all deportation charges(expenses) the canadian govt incurred as a result of deporting you and your family. Your kids can sponsor you given that theyre making a certain level of income to sponsor you (parents). As for your kids I am sure they can go back on a visit visa but again they will have to provide sufficient proof (and this goes for you too, if you apply for a visit visa) that you will leave the country before your visit visa expires. Hope this helps..but do consult a lawyer he will be able to guide you better. But only go for a licensed lawyer and not to those "scam players" found in every nook and corner of pak.

1. Deportation is a life time bar. To return to Canada you need an ARC (Authorization to Return to Canada) difficult to get.
2. Unlikely your eldest son would be issued a study permit as he was included in the deportation order.
3. Not a chance for the OP for a visitor visa.

Thank you. So basically can my kids try and sponser me in the future. Is that possible?? And If you are deported from canada can you apply for immigration after. Like as a skilled worker?

Yes - your children can sponsor you once they are adults and if they meet the requirements to sponsor.

Yes - you can apply to immigrate as a skilled worker. You will still need an ARC to return since you were deported.

Thank you very much. One last thing soo if i apply for immigration what are the chances that ill get accpeted ? Are they the same for anyone else. Or will the assessment process be different efor my application?

Your chances are probably the same as someone else although your application will take longer to process due to the ARC requirements. If you are coming here on the basis of a Canadian job offer, CIC may also review that job offer more closely than usual to confirm it is genuine. Same applies to any other information provided in your file. There may be a closer review due to the failed refugee bid.

That chances are pretty close to nil for a work permit, the refugee claim previously would indicate the OP would not leave Canada once the TWP expires.
