Deportation and now need to revisit Canada

My mom was deported from Canada in 1986 to Jamaica. She has since migrated to the US and is now a green card holder. Can she travel to Canada from US (she plans to drive) without encountering any problems? Will she be allowed entry into Canada or does she need to get authorisation?

1. She requires an Authorization to Return to Canada. She has to apply either to Washington or Los Angeles offices only
