ok, like you said i called vfs, they didn't say anything about bank fund, they
talked generally about documents need, processing time etc, they said," no need of
your wife documents other than marriage certificate since your are the primary applicant for open work
permit , if necessary you can give wife document, if you like"

i called a consultant , they said , like you said , open work permit for spouse who has work permit in
Canada, both the above statements are contradict to each other right?

consultant gave me this below link
www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/spouses-conjoints.aspx?view=d

can you help me to find any reputed consultant in kerala,India who do open work permit?
please clarify me.

Sorry

Dont know anyone in Kerela.

Also I dont think they need much funds you can show aporox funds just to show..

But I dont think that its necessary to express a fixed amout of fund.

Please let me know your results when and your experience after you apply...

Thanks and All the best..

spousal open work permit

hi. my husband is in canada since 2007,,,,,,,,,,and I am appplying for a spousal open work permit together with my children over 18 years of age. My husband sends me his valid work permit and other documents to support our application.

application was received by the canadian embassy, manila last sept 19 and we are waiting for our medical request form.

my understanding is it will take 1 month or bit more to complete the process, so you can wait for some time. what is your husbands profession ?, what all documents you kept when you filed the open work permit application?
