I hope someone here will be able to help me as i looked everywhere for an answer but did not find one.
my case is, I am a PR and I am living in Canada, my baby girl was born outside Canada due to Covid, so i applied for a TRV and it was granted so she is now living here with us in Canada. once she came I directly applied for sponsorship which was approved and we did the medical as requested and just a month ago we received the pre-arrival letter, which we don't really need since she is already in Canada.
my issue is I just came to know that since her status (visa) expired she wont be able to get a PR unless I restore her status in Canada.
is that true? if yes what should I do?
