Our case locked in date is jan,2011., at that time the dependent in our case is regular in his studies. But due to some financial and other reason he is unable to continue his studies after june 2013, but at present he is regular again in studies. So basically he have one year gap in continuous studies from june 2013 to july 2014, but presently he is enrolled in regular studies.
So the question is whether he is eligible or not as a dependent child?

What age was he on the day that the application was submitted?

Then he was a Type A dependent at time of application based on age alone, so his studies should be irrelevant. The only important thing is he not get married or become common-law before getting PR.

But now when cic Mississauga ask me for all the papers and send the checklist, they also.want the complete study records after attaining age 22. But he studied only till 23, and now he is unemployed, what should be his present status?
