Hi All,
My wife and I are PR holders, we received our PR's a couple of year back, but we went back to the US. While we were there our child was Born, and we recently arrived in Canada as a settler. Now, we are trying to sponsor our child for PR, and i have filled out all the forms. There is one item called "source of support" in the checklist that has me thinking and could use some advice. I do not have a CRA assessment yet since i did not file taxes yet. Is there an alternative to this ? Should i just explain in a cover letter or can i submit anything else ? Anyone else go through the situation.

Please let me know.

Regards,

Bank statements should be fine.

Bank statements should be fine.

Thank you.

Bank Statement would indicate the balance, and i haven't deposited a large sum into it yet except for payroll deposits that occur every month. Is there a minimum that should be shown. Can a US bank statement work assuming that i will bring those funds into my canadian bank account at some point.

Any international statements are fine.
