Hi all,
I applied for PR for my dependent son (5 months old) on December 4, 2025. I have not received any update or AOR yet. May I know how many months it is currently taking for a dependent child to get PR?

Got the AOR on Jan 24, but not able to create an account in PR tracker.

It’s impossible to receive biometrics letters and medical requests without getting an AOR first. You probably received the AOR email but didn’t see it, maybe because it went to your spam folder or something like that. The AOR email does not contain any attachments (such as a letter or document from IRCC). It is a simple email stating: “This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)”, and it includes the UCI and application number.

The UCI ID send with the AOR is my UCI. only the application number belongs to my sons PR.

Finally received the AOR for our child. Submitted November 27.

His is more complicated, I had to resubmit an updated police clearance and we just did so on January 12 so that will take longer. Our priority is the youngest.
