Sad. This always happen; when I try to apply IRCC always increase timeline (lol ).

@PRforbaby - Hey, did you receive your passport back? Did you opt for In-person or Courier service? how much time did it take for you? I got the PPR and was checking whether there are any tips/suggestion to book appointment or sending via courier.. I will have to take appointment in VFS Mumbai if it matters.

I think you are gonna get the decision within this month. you already completed the eligibility and that is why received the pre arrival letter. and if I am not wrong for minor there is no background check. So in that sense now they are processing your portal 1, maybe within two weeks you may get it.

Hi all, What is the AOR in case of dependent child PR application. I submitted my Child's PR application On July 9th and next update I got was on meeting the eligibility as sponsor on Sep 4. Never got any AOR or other communication in between

That has happened with some applicants previously. Nothing to worry. Next step would be of medical request. Do you need AOR for TRV? If so, you could use this Eligibility confirmation letter instead.

You can link your application after you get the AOR email from IRCC, which will include your application number and UCI. It usually takes a few weeks, so hang tight! All the best.
