Denied TRV

Is there a possibility that one's TRV is denied because, the host sought refugee protection in Canada?
Obviously, this would not be disclosed by ICCRC however, I am wondering if that makes it harder for an individual to obtain a TRV?

Also, is age a factor? someone in their 20's to obtain a TRV to Canada ?

Yes. Attempted Refugee protection would cause a TRV denial.

It would likely get "purpose of visit" refusal grounds. They will anticipate you would try to aim asylum again.
