Hi all - would really appreciate if anyone either has advice, or can confirm my interpretation of things:
Background: My partner is British, a PR of Canada, has been at university in the UK and is now back in Canada. As a PR, she couldn't begin sponsoring my application to come join her, until she was back in Canada.
Dilemma: Now she is back in Canada, she needs to demonstrate she meets the minimum income levels from a Canadian source in the last 12 months. Or have I interpreted this wrongly? If I haven't, then we can't apply for my PR for another year, until she gets enough build up of income level evidence :-( Any advice appreciated.
