Yes there are no guarantees a child will be able to accompany their parent to come Canada. Things like access to extra funds and childcare is one of the major considerations. Having to support a child in Canada is very expensive and if a parent is accompanied by a child that also limits their opportunity to work. What type of degree also tends to influence the approval for dependents. It tends to be easier to to have your family join you when you are studying an advanced degree.
Absolutely. Many are denied as the child is the tie to return after studies.
