Hi all
I sponsored my common-law spouse in December 2024.
BIL received and completed in Feb 2025
MIL received and complete in March 2025
Received sponsor eligibility letter in April 2025
The tracker says BBC in process and eligibility not yet started
Since then its been silence from IRCC. The tracker showed two ghost updates in August and November 2025.
We've sent two webforms asking for updates but never received anything.

Do you think we should apply for GCMS notes, and how can we do so since we're both outside of Canada presently?
Also, is it true that applying for GCMS notes slows down the application further?
Thankful for any advice.

You may have news anytime soon. Today, an October 2024 applicant shared that he got P1. For now, I don’t think applying for the notes would give you any important information about your application. Waste of time and will let you more anxious. And no, the notes won’t change the processing time for your application.
