Delay in SPP visa

i had applied for student visa at mumbai vfs on 11th July 2016, being processed at bangalore VFS. Its been 6 weeks now. what are the chances for rejection after 6 weeks.

Delay has no bearing on rejection. Maybe they are doing some background check. Best wishes and good luck for approval. Cheers.

Applied under spp thru mumbai on 29th July, 4th week going on, still no reply. Anyone got their visas who submitted around this time?
